The 2nd owner had the car for approximately 30 years and it sat in his garage for about 23 of those years leading up to the sale to the 3rd owner. Do not know the story on the original owner that had the car approximately 5 years except that the car has been in the Gibralter / Flat Rock, Michigan area its entire life. The car is all original except one brake line and the exhaust system. Made the mistake (big mistake) of having my mechanic put on an Edelbrock 600 carburator. I still have the original quadrajet and plan on going back in 2012 when the wife lets me spend more money on my new toy. I just work on it and drive it on dry days. It will be stored every winter.
The Wedgewood Blue color has really grown on me. I had a '73 Cutlass S in high school... cranberry red exterior w/ black vinyl top, red interior....a real head turner. |
